JUST KIDDING! My name is Miqa. And this is a STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, film review. It all comes from my own personal perspective. Well, doing film review is hard. So, I just gonna throw the review point by point (I'm not sure if it still call a 'review' though). SPOILER ALERT!
"Ape tengok-tengok? Saya tak 'date' orang telinga tajam. Sorry ye,"
1. Saya asalnya bukan peminat filem STAR TREK. Never been a fan. Don't know why.
2. Saya belum lagi tonton prequel filem ini iaitu STAR TREK (2009). (I know, I'm a loser).
3. Apprently, it's their 12th film on the franchise. WOW I say. How many STAR WARS have? Six?
4. The opening is good. Macam starting filem-filem adventure yang lain, opening dia mesti merangkumi action yang gempak dan detik-detik yang cemas. Well, it was good but unfortunately, forgettable.
5. Apparently, hampir semua hero dalam dunia STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS berkulit putih. Kecuali watak Zoe Saldana yang berbangsa AVATAR. But she doing nothing important except speaking AVATAR language with the KLINGOS (bad guys always get weird name). And not to be forgotten, SULU, played by the korean-american guy who represent the whole ASIAN. Janji ade...
6. I have to complain, watak Captain Kirk by Chris Pine seems too 'GOOD LOOKING'. He look like a guy who would act as a PRINCE charming in some "ordinary-people-turn-royal" film with Anne Hathaway. Wait, is that already happen?
7. Watak Dr. Carol Marcus by Alice Eve, does nothing important but being slightly smart and WEAK. She act more like a decoration to the film. But still I love her. Gahahahahaha! (Is she have any dialogue scene with Zoe Saldana in this movie? Hurmmm...)
8. The spaceship (ENTERPRISE) look awesome. I like most of the scene involve spaceship. Very cool. It gets cooler when the spaceship start to shoot or hit each other. But sometimes I was like "Man, please don't destroy that beautiful-innocence spaceship".
9. Watak super-villain iaitu KHAN, didn't fail to makes me confuse. So, he's a bad guy. And then, oh wait.. He's a good guy. And then... WHAT THE HECK? He's a BAD GUY??? By the way, if Khan have like one or two sidekick to attack together, it would be more cool.
Lokap cermin membuat penampilan untuk ke-10 kalinya. Very 'RELIABLE'
10. Filem ni banyak babak nangis. Khan nangis. Captain Kirk nangis, Spock nangis. When Captain Kirk and Spock cry together, I must admit that it's a little ghey.
11. Watak yang paling aku suka ialah SPOCK. Dia mungkin berkarakter dungu, tapi dia punyai deep emotion yang cuba disembunyikan serta kesanggupan dia untuk bekorban demi orang lain. Ianya sangat menyentuh hati. He even beat the shit-out-of Khan in near-ending-fighting scene. Very POWERFUL!
So, that's it. That's my review.
Do I like this film? YES!
Will I watch it again? YES but only for Alice Eve.
I will strip for no reason for this movie.
